This page explains the difference between news postings and training postings.
News postings and training postings both are referred as Knowledge in soeasy buddy.
Currently, due to functional updated in the previous version, there is slightly a difference between news and training post. Training post is generally more superior to news post.
The following is an explanation of the history and specific differences between the two posts.
History of soeasy buddy application's features updates
Originally, soeasy buddy provided news and training with two very different usability features. However with the application renewal in mid-August 2020, the differences between the two posts has been lessened than previous version.
Original Specifications
Before, News and Training posts are showed in different locations
・News: on the timeline, accessible from the Home tab
・Training: accessible from the Training tab, displayed in a folder
Specifications after mid-August 2020
News and Training are now displayed in the same place
・Both news and training, when posted, will display to the timeline, accessible from the Home tab
・Both news and training can be posted while stored in a folder or moveable to a folder even after posted
Specific differences and changing for future update
Currently, training posts is generally superior to news posts.
This section is divided into two sections: what can be done for news and training posts in general, and what can be done only for training posts.
News and Training Common Features
・Text input
・Attach data (videos, images, PDFs, audio files)
・Setting of hashtags, limitation of posting public range, and Mention
・Linking to folders
Functions Existing Only in Training
・Add titles post
・Automatic subtitling (also will be available for news in the future)
・Organization administrator can check the status of the training (also will be available for news in the future).
News and training will be updates as different formats for different submissions. Specifically:
・News is designed for simplicity and ease of posting.
・Training post will be included with various features such as inserting tables, videos and PDF files, etc.
